Browsing through Ebay and everywhere else, I notice that Dierk Nowitskys RC is suddenly relevant again after a series sweep of the Lakers.
Realizing that many prewar cards are often some 100 years older, I was wondering if anyone has stories of similar price bumps based on world events. Did Gehrig cards go crazy when Cal broke his record? Did Babe cards get a boost when the steriod era created a home run frenzy? I'm just curious as to what some of the bigger events/price correlations were. |
