#2 - SOLD More of a printed type photo than an rppc. Looks like a baseball comedic
scene of some sort. Postally stamped on the back 1910.
#3 - SOLD Real photo postcard of Whitesox player Harry Lord. Postally stamped
on the back 1911.
#4 - SOLD This is an interesting postcard. It shows the Carlton buffet in Omaha Nebraska with insets of Jack Haskell and Harry Pullman. There is a large baseball scoreboard chalkboard on the right from some day in 1913. Dutch Leonard pitched for Boston that day and lost, Johnny Kling caught a game and lots of other baseball batteries written out for the games of whatever day that was, along with the scores. Looks like the Western League, American League, national league and one more on the bottom I can't make out. As for the Federal League, great stuff written on the back. This was mailed in January 1914 from Omaha Nebraska, sent to Ed White of Portland Oregon. The sender writes, "We are going to start the Federal League here now - Jack has signed me for Podunk - Van". This is just conjecture, but I'm guessing the Jack he is referring to could be Federal league champions Indianapolis Hoosiers' John A. George, and Van is infielder Carl Vandagrift. Indianapolis was one of the teams they would refer to as Podunk so it is possible. Again just a possibility.
