Another intriguing set may be the '59 Fleer Williams. Those are some great looking cards IMO and seem like they can be had fairly reasonably

Well I know they had league leaders in 1961 and up so maybe that was the first year. And yes 59 Fleer Ted Williams is classic, I wish the prices were what they are now when I put my set together, one of the coolest sets ever made, more like a comic book and great time to buy them is right now !!
