I've bought them at the store, and assembled them at home. It's a bit of a pain, but shouldn't take more than an hour of your time. I am sure that if they delivered to you from out of town , you would have to assemble them. There are "lower-maintenance" options at other furniture stores... this one just seems lik the best compromise between quality and cost (these Cabinets can be very expensive elsewhere).
