Phil Cavarretta RIP

94 years young; left us this weekend. I believe he was the last living player to have faced Babe Ruth in a major league game

Walt Dropo, age 87 also left us this weekend but he did not make a major league debut until after WW2 ended.

Bad week for baseball indeed
