unless you have an unlimited budget, I would very carefully select "must have" COMPLETE sets. Just because you have a large lot of a set doesn't mean you have to finish it (I have made this mistake). Buying Short-Prints/High's and all the commons even can get very tedious and expensive so I would pick one or two sets you REALLY like and try to get them done first...If I had to do it all over again I would pick one or two sets from each decade and build a very nice grade set of each and then just pick up a few key players/rc's from the other sets and call it a day...JMO
Also, I'm sure you know this but make sure you check this collection for high numbers as some of them are easy $100 bills (ex: 52 high's 311 and above..) Last edited by mintacular; 09-07-2010 at 11:06 AM. |
