Milwaukee Sentinel sports editor Russ Lynch, through the power of the press, played an important role in pressuring Boston Braves owner Lou Perrini to either commit to moving to Milwaukee or give up the territorial rights and therefore pave the way for Bill Veeck to move the Browns into the city.
