Chief Noc-A-Homa
As a youngster my family drove down to Atlanta to see the Braves play. I have many fond memories including Chief Noc-A-Homa. My mom got his autograph which I still treasure today. Years later I found a payroll check made out to him (Levi Walker, Jr.).
Opposing teams used to torment him on his run to the teepee out in left field....hurling insults and taunts mostly. One night his teepee caught on fire! Anyone else have memories of the Chief?
