Hi Bob, I only collect Cardinals so I have #s 12 Marty Marion, #13 Alexander, #14 Dean Bros, and #21 Musial. The first 3 I have in both formats, the Musial only in the printed back. I remember looking for a Musial with a blank back when I was putting these together, never found one. I think the blank backs are only #s1-18.
I would surmise that the blank backs (black print) were printed last, because they corrected the reversed negative on the Dean Bros card. See photo. Last edited by cardinalcollector; 01-24-2010 at 09:04 AM. Reason: spelling
