Attn DC Area Net54ers-Sportscard "Yard Sale"
Time: Saturday October 24, 9AM to 3PM
Place: 6819 Elm Street, McLean, VA Several local collectors have pooled resources and are putting on this sale, which will encompass mostly baseball and football cards from pre-war into the 70s. There will also be some publications and more recent cards of all sports in large-count boxes at blow-out prices. Depending on the reaction to this sale, this could be the precursor of a vintage card and memorabilia shop that these local collectors hope to establish. The locale is on the edge of McLean's business district. There will be signage to indicate the way. It's supposed to be rainy tomorrow in DC. This should be a great activity for such a day and a nice opportunity to meet up with fellow area collectors. I hope you'll come support this endeavor.
