It's for regular collectors that just want their cards encased in plastic but don't want to pay for it... (It costs less to get your card slabbed with this service...)
In terms of quality, basically an intern takes a quick look at it and decides "looks like a 10 to me!" The scale is all screwed up, there are no subgrades, and the slab is cheap plastic one unlike the BGS/BVG heavy-duty ones. Sadly, some eBay sellers and others have taken advantage of buyers assumptions that this service, since provided by Beckett, "must be pretty close to PSA/SCG" submit their cards w/BCCG, get a 7 or 8, and then sell it for at close to the PSA/SMR 7 value when in fact the card would receive a 2 or 3 with PSA.
