I had this same issue with the new scanner I just bought. The photo editing software that came with it made the scan look almost the same size as the actual card, but when I posted it, it was three times as big. There should be some kind of resizing option with your photo editing software. Mine allows you to either enter a specific size or a percentage. I just reduce the scans to 35% of the original size and they come out right about the size of the actual card. Hope that helps.
