Thanks for the replies so far. I'm fine with absolute beaters so that's the sort of card I was asking about. $200-400 sounds like it might work for me just as long as I can still see the face of the player on the card, I'd probably be ok with it.
Barry, a good point....maybe I could start off with a particular team or something. Well, actually, I'd probably better just take whatever's available....beggers can't be choosers. Brian, I remember speaking to you previously about the HOFers. I used to collect those actually and it wasn't long before I had all my funds tied up in about 8-10 cards. Not much fun there so I'll steer clear of you on the HOFers... Thanks guys! Brian
