Using the good old perpetual calendar, it shouldn't be hard to pin down the year for this great-looking item. Between his "early 1930" marriage and his 1966 death, January 19th only fell on a Monday in the following years: 1931, 1942, 1948, 1953 and 1959.
Looks like a 1931 item to me...probably on the occasion of his first wedding anniversary. |
