1936 Negro League Broadside
This may be one of my best ebay purchases. A broadside from a 1936 game between the Monarchs and the Homestead Grays. To me the most interesting part is that it was used for a expense ledger by the Grays staff- most likely Bill Evans. On the front the number of tickets sold is listed and the back details the expenses for ticket takers (3 @ 2 dollars per) I find it amazing that were are talking about organiztions that had Hall of Fame players and they bascially had to use scrap paper for an expense ledger.
Please post some of your Negro League finds
