Ted ZanidakisThere is no argument that the Red portrait Cobb was American Lithographic's "signature picture" for its white
bordered T-card sets. This picture of Cobb appears on at least 30 white bordered cards with various Tobacco
advertising backs. But, there appears to be some argument regarding the relative scarcity of its 11 toughest
T206 backs. So, let's run a survey and see what results.
I will start this survey with 2 of my 4 red Cobb cards.
0....BROAD LEAF 460
0....DRUM
0....HINDU (red)
0....LENOX (black)
0....UZIT
1....SOVEREIGN 460
1....PIEDMONT 460 Factory 42
0....CAROLINA BRIGHTS
0....AMERICAN BEAUTY 350
0....CYCLE 460
0....EPDG
OK, guys and gals.....how about running up the numbers.....show and/or tell us about your red Cobb(s) ?
Remember, this survey is not limited to just these 11 backs....any Red Cobb is welcome to this study.
Thanks for your time an effort responding to this survey.
