Paul FuscoFrom my perspective as the promoter of the show. The material in the room was much stronger than last years with much pre-war offerings as well as well loads of 1940-1970 vintage material. The mood was upbeat both amongst dealers and collectors. The foot traffic was down at least 40% from last year. A sure sign that the failing ecomony is begging to make an impact, at least at this show. The good news however is that the 1000+ folks that did show up were avidly buying, trading, consigning and submitting items for authentication and grading. Having Brian from SGC at the show was a big plus. Most of the dealers went home at the least satisified to very glad of the weekends outcome. A few were dissapointed with their sales but indicated that they will be back. The dates for next years Ohio Sports Collectors Convention is April 16-18th at the Strongsville Holiday Inn. I want to personally thank all of you that attended the convention in one capacity or another. Cleveland is a great sports collecting area and with your continued support, we will endeavor to keep this great vintage show not only running once a year but make it better, each and every year to come. See you all at the national. Stop by our booth and introduce yourself if we haven't met before.
