There are several different combinations that appear on the back of the 60 Topps, made more varied when you consider that they come in both gray and white-ish card stock. When the name isn't printed in black, then they use no color for the name at all -- what they do is print the color around it, the name, that is (you see this on the 59's too). In other words, normally you'd see the big yellow color rectangular box across the lenth of the top of that card, but no ink used at all where the letters of the name should be...it would just be the card stock underneath showing through. So, if no yellow, then nothing to define around the perimeter of the name. |
