Default personal collecting questions

Posted By: Dan Bretta

1. What is your focus today, in collecting?

All things related to Nebraska - Omaha player Old Judge cards, Nebraska Indian postcards and photos, prewar cards of Nebraska born players, town team postcards, minor league programs, et cetera....

2. What are the 3 cards you need most?

Any 3 Omaha OJ's I don't have.

3. Do you like to trade, buy, or a combination when you do acquire your needs?

I like to buy.

4. Has the economy forced you to sell things you wouldn't have otherwise?

No, I have been selling items I didn't think I would part with just so I can have some extra hobby money. They aren't related to Nebraska though so I don't really miss them.

5. What is your absolute favorite series, why?

Old Judge N172. Love the fact that it's a real photograph, a snapshot in time of the professional game from more than a century ago.

6. How do you enjoy acquiring your cards most- Ebay, auction, BST, shows etc...?

I enjoy the most when an item comes from a fellow collector on the BST.

7. What do you do for a living, how old are you and where do you live?

I own a video store, I'm 41 and I live in Nebraska.
