Default "New Marlboro Match Base Ball Game" Rules & Diagram

Posted By: davidcycleback

Shawn, we had the same thoughts on the meaning of base ("Can a stake be a base? Perhaps"), which is why I revised after the thought. Though I get full credit for the vampire theory.

I think the game should be called sofa cushion ball. Not only do the MLB bases look like sofa cushions, but there would no historical linguistic confusion as no one in the 1800s or today would sit on a stake. A stake might be used as a base, but no way would it be used as a sofa cushion.
