Need some help identifying what these are ...

Does anyone know if these E254 Colgan Chips were ever reprinted ?? I have someone who wants to sell me eight (Wagner, Cobb, Baker, Hooper, Steinfeldt, Chase, Waddell and Flick.) for $1000. I think it would be a very good deal if they're real. I'm going to meet up with him this week to take a look at them, but really don't know what to look for to determine if they're authentic or reprints. Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.
