I swear I have never seen as many trimmed cards as I have on ebay this week. I am not talking about cards for sale which are trimmed and then slabbed as authentic, I am talking about raw cards being sold. The sad thing is that all these caramel and tobacco cards, whether they be E96s or E94s or E98s or T206s or T213s, etc. do not have one whit of caveat in their descriptions. There will likely be some really ticked off, unsuspecting buyers out there. I bought one which was a gorgeous E96 for not much on a BIN, knowing it will wind up in an SGC authentic holder, but I hope prospective buyers acknowledge that all these cards will never grade any higher than authentic... |
