The image was taken from a Larry Fritsch "Card Museum" card. The picture almost looks hand-drawn. Whether the actual card appears this way or if the image was enhanced for presentation is open for debate. On the reverse of the museum card it is stated that Larry purchased the card for a dollar from a stamp dealer in the early 1970's. It also says that it is most likely one of a kind. Estimated value in 1988...$1000. |
