Tris Speaker. In collecting cards I've always been surprised by the huge variations in his image caught in various baseball card issues. Some players like Ruth are readily recognizable in almost every pic. you find them in, while others without i.d you'd never guess. Here's a quick sample currently up on ebay (and no, I'm not selling any or have any interest personally or financially in them ).

Anyone have other players that struck you similarly?
