Default T206 "Back Project"

Posted By: MVSNYC

just thought this would be a cool topic, since it seems like "rare backs" are the talk of the board recently..."on & off" for nearly 15 years now, i have been working on collecting the different brand backs, and slowly have been upgrading them to get the best condition examples i can into my collection, (i also collect high grade T206's, but i seperate the two projects in my mind) along the way selling my downgrades...

does anyone else collect the backs in such a way (best graded example of each brand)? if so, would be fun for others to share their collection here...maybe compare the overall average?

*All PSA Graded:

Drum 4
Uzit 3
Red Hindu 1 (not part of the avg.)
Piedmont 42 3 (not part of the avg.)
Lenox 3
Broad Leaf 350 3
Carolina Brights 3
Brown Hindu 1
Tolstoi 3
EPDG 5
Am. Beauty 4
Cycle 5
Old Mill 5
Sovereign 5
Polar Bear 5
Sweet Caporal 7
Piedmont 8

15 brands (minus cobb) avg: 4.27

just a fun project...and obviously "eye appeal" is very important.

anyone else care to share their back collections?

MS
