buying stock in cards??

anyone ever heard of some website and I dont know the name of it...where people are actually buying stock, a percentage in a baseball card for the purposes of selling it later for more money?? I've never heard of such and think its just crazy...who would buy 10% of a card they never get to see or hold in thier hand??
