what happened to Mr. Mint??

So since the card graders have come into play the past few years, what ever happened to the big card dealer and consumer in the 80's, Mr. Mint (Al Rosen)? Has he dropped off the face of the earth or did he take all those mint cards and make a fortune having them graded?
