I've never used Roop's binders, but the wood preservation case I got last Christmas didn't work for SGC slabs, for the lid wouldn't close. I had to cut out the bottom of the trays, & remove the thin cardboard insert under the lid to get the box to close. Roop claimed they never had that problem before, but never offered me a refund or a solution. However, I do like the box, now that I got all the slabs to fit.
