Anytime an eBayer says the paper or ink on a cardstock has been tested by a scientific lab, it is dubious claim at best. A lab test of ink or paper usually requires removing a pieces of ink or paper from the card to test those samples (and they don't put them back on when they're done). Not only would the test be destructive to the card and cost a lot of money, it is almost never needed ... And, needless to say, there is no such thing as genetically testing baseball cards-- not even in paternity cases. |
