Why assume that just because someone has lots of money to spend on cards that they don't or won't care about the history of the game? Isn't it just as likely that someone with the ability to put their cash into anything they want would gravitate towards cards only if they understood and appreciated them? After all, cards aren't as liquid as stocks or bonds, as durable as land, they don't generate any income, and there are many lousy card investments out there. |
