Keith: Those are prime examples of figural pieces. This is an under-appreciated (and under-valued) segment of the hobby. I really love both of those... especially the Eagle. It's great that those old Gibbs Conner Prototypes have miraculously made it into the hobby.

Here is one of my personal G - C favorites. Note how the Brownie is stepping on the Lion's head (the Lion has X's for eyes...) The Browns beat the Lions for the NFL Championship in '54...
