I'm almost tempted to bid it to the moon (assuming some rube were to bid against me) and get the auction to close at like $500,000. Of course I wouldn't pay. Hopefully the scammer will be enough of an idiot - and I think this one might be, by being so obvious and blatant (0 feedback, selling the king of all cards, in Mint no less, with an opening bid of $95,000) that he wouldn't know how to file an Unpaid Item Dispute through eBay, and be left thinking of how he's going to pay the 4-figure fee eBay will want. This assumes he's not using a stolen credit card, of course. But if he's really inept, he might be using his own. |
