Mike Wheat made some rather snazzy replicas of T3s, with only a tiny, tiny flourish on the back to announce that they were reprints. I think they could easily fool someone unfamiliar with the set (but then, we're always telling people, "Don't buy a card for over $100 until you're familiar with the original set.") The coloring is not perfect--although it's good- and there's no attempt to duplicate the weired surface of a T3, but the figures and forms are VERY faithfully copied. If you'd like a scan of my reprint of "Chief Myers at Bat," e-mail me. If you're not into collecting T3s, or if you already have saeveral real ones, forget it. |
