your scanner should have some way to change the quality of the scan. 72dpi is the default for basic web publishing. 300dpi for printing and there shoudl me be a way to manuallt set the dpi aside from presets. Your dpi is lmited by the amount of RAM your computer has, but a 300dpi scan should be good enough. No way to shrink the scans. The higher the dpi, the larger the scan looks on screen |
