Default Well, I either self-immolated or got my Wagner

Posted By: Chris

Hi everybody. My name is Chris and I have been reading posts on here for 3 weeks and have truely enjoyed learning some interesting things from the people here. I just wanted to say that just because you pay by Paypal does not mean you will get your money back on a deal gone bad. If the person does not have any funds in their account when Paypal tries to recover funds you are out of luck. This happened to me. I paid for an item added money for insurance and never received the item or a reply from the seller. I filed a complaint with Paypal and after a month they sent me an email saying they determined the seller was at fault but they were unable to recover the funds. I would suggest if you feel like it may not be real, contact the seller with your concerns and see if you can mutually not honor the bid. This is allowed by Ebay and the seller can recover listing fees without anything going against the buyers record. So glad I found this site it is great.
