Is anyone else having trouble bidding in mastro?

On a few occasions I have won a Mastro lot as the only bidder, on a bid I placed in the first few days of the auction. After receiving one invoice I said, "Oh yeah, I forgot about that."

I have also been outbid at 3 am on stuff I had my heart set on winning, so I have experienced the spectrum.
