cash is paper money (or coins) issued and backed by the government.
A check is paper printed by any number of companies on behalf of a person or company that allows you to receive cash at a later date IF there is enough cash in that account. Venmo, paypal and others are done without actual paper money exchanging hands so no that is not the same as cash. So no....checks and electronic payments do not equal cash And no, I do not accept checks, credit cards, venmo, paypal at card shows. Only the paper money. Just my opinion. Bob
