Default Some questions…

I picked up these two items in an online sale, a 1909 Colgan’s Chips card of Jack Knight and what’s left of a 1909 Sweet Caporal Domino PX7 disc of HOF Bobby Wallace.

My questions:

1) The Knight has some scrapbook paper remnants on the back. I’ve successfully soaked tobacco cards before, but never one of these Colgan’s Chips cards. Does anyone have any experience soaking one or any tips for me?

2) The Wallace as you can see is rough. The metal ring is gone, and a portion of the card is gone as well. SGC is my grader of choice and when I contacted them, they said that they would not encapsulate this PX7 even as authentic. CGC said the same thing. I truly despise PSA, but I know that they grade these. I really would like to have it encapsulated with the label just for my collection. Has anyone had any experience with a disc this damaged and submitting to PSA?
