What happened to the 27-foot long bat that was presented to the Red Stockings in 1869 from the Cincinnati Lumber Company? Is it on display anywhere? I landed a copy of the July 24 Harper's Weekly from that year and was admiring the woodcut print of the presentation ceremony. It made me wonder where it went after the ceremony and google wasn't much help.
