I recently picked up a card which is in a cracked PSA holder - card looks fine, but the holder is damaged.
If I submit to PSA to reholder, does the original grade carry forward (assuming they agree the card itself isn’t damaged) but would now be in a “new label” PSA slab? If so, this seems a little odd to me since I see some sellers hype the “new label” slabs as somehow more valuable since (maybe myth) it’s generally agreed that grading standards are more strict now than they were even several years ago. Hope my question makes sense - Thx Jeff
