Joe Sewell signed check to Riggs Stephenson Motors
Signed check from Joe Sewell to Riggs Stephenson motors in 1954, Tuscaloosa Alabama. I'm sure everyone knows about the MLB careers of these two, but the baseball stadium at the University of Alabama is named, in part, after Sewell because he coached there for many years after his MLB career (if I remember correctly). Riggs Stephenson played football for Alabama as well as baseball and lived there after retiring. Would be interesting to know what kind of car the $9.94 payment was for.
Price = $75 shipped, or best offer. It's not that hard to find a Joe Sewell signed check, but I don't see any others out there right now to Stephenson.
