Hard to believe that a Car Company would not only pay, but persuade two MLB teams to come to Toledo for an exhibition game just to entertain the factory workers. Equally incredibly, the players all walked in procession from the factory to the field alongside the auto workers! Imagine seeing Matty pitching to Cobb with Crawford on deck... yes, that really happened! A different day and age for sure...
