If you're collecting cards in lower-to-mid range "grade" types (this is most of what I do), wait until you get one you can live with.
If you get a card like this just because the price is right you'll end up in constant upgrading loops. I don't mind upgrading something so rare it barely comes up for sale, but when there's many times a year you can take a shot at something it's worth waiting. |
