1954 Topps Near Complete Set 242/250 Lower Grade $750 SOLD

For sale is a 1954 Topps baseball near set with 242/250 cards included. Missing are the (8) key higher dollar cards - Aaron, Banks, Kaline, Williams(2), Mays, Robinson, Lasorda.

This is a lower grade near set as almost all of the cards have a red stamped name on the reverse as shown in the first picture. The original owner stamped his name on each card I assume to make sure they did not get stolen.

Disregarding the stamp which obviously lowers the grade significantly, most of the fronts of the cards present in the VG or better range with maybe 15% lesser. The scans accurately reflect the overall condition of the cards.

Here are my grades for the star cards disregarding the stamped backs: Berra F, Mathews G, Spahn F, Snider VG(No stamp), Ford F, Ashburn F, Rizzuto F, Hodges VG/EX, Wilhelm VG/EX, Kluzewski VG, Irvin VG, O'Brien Brothers VG/EX, Skowron G, Pesky VG, Martin G(No Stamp), Black VG/EX, Doby P(No stamp).

Cards housed in 8 pocket pages in a binder. Priced at just over $3.50/card straight through. Cheap way to complete a set if you have the more expensive cards in this set already.
