My favorite was a Topps Football redemption my son sent in during the late 2000's as a really young kid. Some no name 4th or 5th rounder on card sig that he was overjoyed to have pulled.
Nothing shows at all for almost a year, then it was sent to him. It was a basic auto card, however instead of an auto it had a gold embossed statement across the auto spot that simply said "Autograph not returned" in the same font and size as a serial number. He was truly happy to see that (pure sarcasm).
