FS: 1904 Hughie Jennings Cabinet Photo w/ Cornell University
SOLD: 1904 cabinet photo of the Cornell University baseball team with Hughie Jennings as coach (Jennings seated fourth from left). Jennings attended Cornell to study law and coached the baseball team while there, stopping just short of obtaining his degree, though he did in fact pass the Maryland bar exam in 1905.
Cabinet photo is in excellent condition. Clarity is outstanding. Corners of the board are bumped. See photos below. The first two photos are scans and others are camera photos. The scans best match the tonality of the cabinet. Actual photo size is about 9-1/2 x 4-5/8, and the overall size is 13-1/2 x 8-1/2. This photo was used in the 1905 Spalding Guide and I'm including that below for reference. SOLD $385 shipped. Paypal or check. PM or email with interest.
