If you track the history of baseball cards the prime major league card sets in order are (this was off the top of my head so please excuse me if I omitted something):
Old Judges E107 T206 M101-4/5 E121 Goudey Leaf/Bowman Topps There is a story behind the timing of the issuance of most of these sets and, if so inclined, a card from each of these sets would make a nice display and talking piece.
