I don't really like the autograph but Bill has much more knowledge than me.

The space between the "n" and "k" looks a bit unusual for his signature and some of the other letters look a little off but could have been because of the thicker marker he was using.

I have no idea about the actual dating of the set but it would not surprise me if it was out before the 1987 official date but since he died on September 4, 1986 I doubt it was out early enough for him to have signed it.

Bill is a professional and I would take his opinion over most but in this case he may be incorrect based on the dating. I would have him take another look at it and see if his opinion has changed.

He is certainly not infallible and I'm sure he would admit that because he has integrity.
