Question for those of you familiar with this show - I noticed several tables set up in one of the main hallways for DCS Grading.... Dallas Card Show grading. My understanding is that this company is owned by the promoter of the show. They were selling DCS graded cards at the show. Seems like an extreme conflict of interest. The grading company selling their owns cards??
Maybe I'm missing something - are they a consignor?? Show was busy but not as busy as times past. I really struggle with the pricing. I thought the new tax requirements would get some vendors to sell below Ebay comps, but every time I asked what the price on something was - I was told what the item sells for on Ebay. Even when I offered cash on a few things, the lowest the seller would go was 5-10% above Ebay comps. SMH
