Default 1919 "Play Ball" Peckinpaugh, Mathewson, Alexander

Offered here is a Near Mint "Play Ball" Notebook Circa 1918. This one Features Yankee Star Shortstop Roger Peckinpaugh stretching for a ball. New York clearly across his pin stripped jersey. Christy Mathewson, Grover Cleveland Alexander and Hank Gowdy are pictured below the large picture of Peckinpaugh. This example is near mint with sharp corners, clean crisp registration with all the pages unused inside. The notebook even has the solid first page that fits under the lined pages for better writing. A true pristine beauty with a clean untouched back. Alexander is pictured on Chicago dating this around 1918-1920. Peckinpaugh was on the Yankees between 1913-1921 batting .305 in 1919 his best year which suggests a 1918-1920 make and when others have suggested these "Play Ball" Notebooks were issued
375.00 plus 12.00 for shipping and insurance.
